Pietro discovers his love
At the age of 15, he moved to Milan, in the North of Italy, and he started to work in wrought iron’s company. Here he impresses the company’s owner for his art of using the fire and modelling the iron according to the different shape needed.
During his experience in the cosmopolitan city of Milan, Pietro takes the opportunity to learn more about all the production techniques in an industrial environment and he starts to produce big and functional products, like a bed, gates, doors and house decoration.
In the big city, Pietro felt something missing and he loves for his home town was evident. Despite enjoying and progressing in his work, you can see he has started to miss his village and the freedom to create his artwork in his dad’s workshop.
